You stay in carefully selected accommodation, have your luggage transferred each day from hotel to hotel, while receiving information on routes, and the history and culture of the area through which you will be traveling.
Our self-guided bicycle trips can be traditional tours that travel from place to place each day, or can be set in a single location. In the former you ride between carefully selected accommodations each day, and your belongings are transferred for you. This allows for exploration of different cities and territory as the terrain changes under you wheels. In the other you stay in one location and we provide route information and whatever equipment you need. These trips allow you to explore a particular area , ideal for those who want more flexibility in their schedule and want mix their riding with the benefits of a more tranquil vacation. Trips with fewer changes are also more economical. Some trips are a mix of the two, set over just two locations with a transfer between the two, either by bike or vehicle.
By design we do not automatically include all meals in our self-guided bicycle trips, instead often including just breakfast and allowing our clients to explore the gastronomy of the locality. Additional meals and other services can be included as an optional extra.

Finally, a word about the weather. Spain has significant variety in climate between different regions. This means that the north of the country is best visited in late spring to autumn, while parts of the south is attractive even during winter, especially for those who do not like the heat. You know your own body, if you do not like heat, the height of summer should be avoided, particularly away from the north. Others may wish to seek out the sun. We provide basic information on the climate in the individual tours, some general climatic information can be found at this link. If you have any doubts, please get in touch and discuss them with us.
