Cycling the Spains: Who Are We?
Cycling the Spains is run by experienced cyclists with a passion to show off the best of Spain. Dominik, the founder of Cycling the Spains, is a keen amateur road cyclist who participates in triathlons, and single & multi-day amateur cycle events, including completing the Haute-Route twice. He cycled the perimeter of Spain over two months on a touring bike prior to setting up Cycling the Spains, and his wider experience has seen him feature as a sports guide for active sports vacations in U.K. publication Forever Sports. Dominik is also a qualified Environmental Consultant, and loves getting to know different people and places.
We believe that while Spain is one of the most popular tourist locations in Europe, many of its most beautiful parts are relatively unknown outside of the country, and are ripe for discovery. With so much to admire, and nothing to rival the experience of doing so by bicycle in the open-air, we like letting others in on the secret.
